Author's Note
Why I worte this book
In the past decade, I’ve lived a slower, reflective, and mindful life — as a poet, coach, and leader in the architecture and construction industry — through one of the busiest decades of my life.
And in that busyness and noise, I found something real: the power of bringing my creative, intuitive self into every part of my life. Not separating the poet from the professional. Not leaving the mother at the door. Not silencing the coach to play the architect.
“What if harmony wasn’t something you found after work was done — but something you could build into the way you work, lead, and live?”
Life is a symphony, where many versions of our being
need our attention. We have to get creativeto build a cadence,
and find harmony and rhythm that resonates from within…
at each crossroad, in transitions and for each changing season in our life.
